We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Specialist to join our Risk Management team at The Nottingham Building Society. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the effective oversight of principal risks, ensuring our business remains safe and compliant.

You will have the opportunity to develop brilliant stakeholder relationships, promote a constructive risk culture across the business, and contribute to the development of processes and policies. Your experience in PRA or FCA regulated businesses will be invaluable in this role.

Our Risk team is passionate about keeping our Society safe from risk, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment. You will have experience writing reports and policies, understanding and manipulating data, and using data and trend analysis to develop crucial insight for the business.

This role would be great for a self-starter who can use their initiative to drive new approaches to tackling risks, bringing new thinking and ideas to the table. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our learning culture through continuous personal development within your role.

About You
  • You will have previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of Regulatory Risk requirements.
  • An understanding of governance and control frameworks is essential, including their construction and deployment. Experience of this within Financial services would be desirable.
  • A strong relationship builder, this role requires confident communication across all levels and functions of the business, so you will need to be not afraid to get stuck in and ask questions.
