Manufacturing Programmer Position

At Next Generation Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Programmer to join our team. This role involves working with a leading global manufacturer that produces machined components for the energy industries. As the Manufacturing Programmer, you will be responsible for writing and editing programs, setting, and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes.
The available shifts are from Monday to Thursday between 18:00pm and 06:00am. The estimated salary for this position is around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour week. Overtime rates apply, and benefits include 34 days holiday, Employee Assistance Programme, free parking, uniform, drinks, Pension Scheme, death in service, staff referral programme, and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Writing and editing programs (G & M codes)
• Setting & Operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
• Carrying out offsets & tool changes
• Altering speeds and feeds
• Running multiple lathes at any one time
• Monitoring cycle times
• Basic machine maintenance
Required Experience and Skills:
• 3-5 years experience Setting & Operating Doosan Puma Lathes (Essential)
• 3-5 years experience programming in Fanuc (Essential)
• Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)
• Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)
• Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
