About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at Alzheimer's Society as an Awareness Raising Volunteer. As a representative of our organization, you will play a vital role in raising awareness about dementia and the support services we offer in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support local events and initiatives to promote awareness about dementia and Alzheimer's Society's services.
- Hold information stands and display leaflets in public areas, such as libraries and GP surgeries, to ensure that community members have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
- Establish connections with local organizations and community groups to amplify our message and reach a wider audience.
