Job Summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in Preston, UK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment and processes to ensure the highest quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare raw materials and packaging for production, ensuring accurate quantities and timely delivery.
  • Operate processing equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintain optimal run rates.
  • Conduct initial testing and release of products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Verify labels and packaging materials for accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Pack final products in accordance with instructions and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company EHS rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Basic educational degree or High School diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required, but knowledge of common software programs (MS Office) is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
  • Availability to work in shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Understanding of basic English language skills.

Physical Environment

  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, and use hands to lift or remove boxes.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Work in a normal chemical environment with temperature, dust, smell, and noise.
