About the Job

Join us as an Environmental Data Analyst and play a key role in our research project focused on sustainable manufacturing and environmental pollution. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that aim to deploy digitalized traceability and environmental footprint calculation technologies in Bangladesh.

Your main responsibilities will include collating, synthesizing, and analyzing research data related to the execution of the project, as well as writing research articles aimed at communicating research findings to the academic and non-academic public.

You will work closely with researchers from the Faculty of Business and Law, who are managing the Leathertrace project, funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO). Your expertise will be instrumental in contributing to the project's objectives, which focus on deploying digitalized traceability and environmental footprint calculation technologies in Bangladesh.

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Requirements
  • A PhD in a sustainability-related field or close to completion
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis and research methods
  • Experience in working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
