As a Care Assistant at Anchor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing dignified personal care, assisting with daily living tasks, and providing emotional support and companionship to our residents. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dignified personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and serving, and providing emotional support and companionship
  • Work as part of a close-knit team to deliver a seamless and high-quality care experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and reviews, in collaboration with other members of the care team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a residential care home
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
