About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established Main Contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team. As an integral part of the team, you will work closely with clients in the medical, educational, and commercial sectors on new build and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cost analysis for sales enquiries and tender submissions
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding cost of materials and labour
  • Tender for interior and fit-out projects
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates
Requirements
  • Proven experience working for a Main Contractor on tender submissions in medical, educational, and/or commercial sector refurbishment projects
  • Clear Enhanced DBS
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office programmes, as well as a high level of literacy
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage timescales and deadlines, work as part of a team, and show dedication to the role
  • A degree or adjacent qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying, or extensive estimating experience
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of NEC and JCT Forms of Contract
  • NRM or SMM7 experience
