At AIG, we're reimagining the way we help customers manage risk. As a Class Underwriter - Cargo Specialist, you'll play a key role in writing large and complex global cargo risks with dual stamping capabilities as part of the wider AIG group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend broker meetings, client meetings, and facilitate company events.
  • Manage a portfolio of marine cargo risks, including renewals, endorsements, and client meetings.
  • Partner with internal teams to drive portfolio performance, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Develop strong relationships with brokers and clients to drive new business and growth.

Requirements:

  • Marine cargo underwriting experience, Lloyd's or company market.
  • Confident with all subclasses of Cargo.
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
