Radiation Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our radiotherapy service.
Job Responsibilities- To be responsible for the accurate preparation, planning, and delivery of treatment by self and all members of the relevant team.
- To organise and supervise the work schedules and patient management on a Linear Accelerator or CT Scanner on a daily basis.
- To assist the Superintendent Radiographers in the daily management of the professional, efficient, and effective provision of high-quality care.
- To comply with all Trust and Departmental Policies, procedures, and protocols, commenting and suggesting changes as necessary.
- To ensure a patient-centered approach to the radiotherapy service.
- To provide training and ensures completion of competency records.
- To assess and mentor students.
- To act as a role model for the team of radiographers and students.
- Honorable Society of Radiographers (HSR) registration.
- A native English speaker for whom English is their first language/IELTS Level 7.
