About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and precise setting out points and measurements on construction sites, ensuring that the structure or infrastructure being built aligns with the project plans and specifications. This role plays a crucial part in the successful completion of construction projects by providing technical support, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that work is executed correctly.

  1. Use surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels to establish accurate points, lines, and levels on-site.
  2. Interpret and analyze construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate setting out of construction elements.
  3. Mark out reference points and guide construction teams to follow accurate dimensions.
  4. Monitor and inspect the quality of work, ensuring it meets project requirements and industry standards.
  5. Identify any discrepancies or deviations from plans and work closely with the project team to resolve them.
  6. Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  7. Maintain detailed records of all setting out activities, measurements, and quality checks.
  8. Prepare progress reports and provide feedback to senior engineers and project managers.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
