About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Project Coordinator to join our team at Charity People. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our LGBTQ+ youth projects, ensuring the successful completion of funding contracts, and building relationships with LGBTQ+ partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery
    • Engage with young people in face-to-face groups and 1-1 sessions to motivate, inspire, and encourage potential.
    • Assess the needs and strengths of the referred child or young person and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change in conjunction with families and professionals where appropriate.
    • Take responsibility for own caseload of children, young people, and families with complex and multiple needs.
  • Project Planning and Delivery
    • Support the planning and delivery of our LGBTQ+ sessions, ensuring continued support is given by Eikon to young people.
    • Support the LGBTQ+ team in ensuring young people are involved in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth work.
  • Impact, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
    • Use goal-based outcomes and additional monitoring tools to monitor effectiveness and the impact of support for CYP accessing the service.
    • Provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of individual interventions.
    • Support the LGBTQ+ team to develop and evaluate service delivery and scale up the programme.
  • Personal Development and Teamwork
    • Attend and actively participate in regular case reviews with line manager.
    • Keep up to date with good practice, legislation, and policies that have an impact on service delivery at Eikon.
    • Work as part of a team to lead and inspire collaboration across Eikon.
Requirements
  • A current valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Subject to an advanced DBS check on appointment.
