Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Youth Project Worker to join our team at The Eikon Charity. As a Youth Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our LGBTQ+ projects, working closely with the team to ensure the successful completion of funding contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the LGBTQ+ team to deliver project services to children and young people, including face-to-face groups and 1-1 sessions.
- Assess the needs and strengths of referred children and young people, helping them identify individual goals and develop plans to achieve desired change.
- Take responsibility for a caseload of children, young people, and families with complex and multiple needs.
- Support the planning and delivery of LGBTQ+ sessions, ensuring continued support is given to young people.
- Work with the LGBTQ+ team to ensure young people are involved in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth work.
- Collaborate with parents and carers to involve them in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of peer parenting work.
- Monitor the effectiveness and impact of support for children and young people accessing the service, using goal-based outcomes and additional monitoring tools.
- Support the LGBTQ+ team in ensuring accurate and timely data reports for internal management and funders.
- Stay up-to-date with good practice, legislation, and policies affecting service delivery at Eikon.
- Attend training and supervision as agreed with your line manager.
Requirements:
- A current valid UK driving license and access to a car.
- An advanced DBS check on appointment.
