About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arboricultural Officer to join our team at Ringway Jacobs. As an Arboricultural Officer, you will be responsible for managing the Cheshire East Highways tree inspection programme and supporting staff in line with the Cheshire East Highways Tree Risk Management Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and accurately report tree inspections and service inspections across the Cheshire East road network as set out in the Inspection Schedule.
  • Receive enquiries and requests for service for a geographical area of the borough and carry out inspections and investigations as required.
  • Consider options and provide appropriate outcomes for each enquiry in accordance with current policies, strategies, business plan, and customer journey.
  • Meet with customers on site to discuss highway maintenance or highway-related matters and conduct such meetings in a courteous manner.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Arboricultural Officer who possesses a RCF Level 6 Arboriculture qualification (e.g. BSc. RFS Professional Diploma, LANTRA, Professional/Tree Inspection) and is QTRA registered. You will also need a full UK driving licence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
