About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Decommissioning Expert to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. This role involves providing technical advice on radiological protection aspects of projects, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
• Develop and review technical designs and documents, including risk assessments and dose estimates
• Conduct radiological monitoring data reviews and provide expert-level support during audits and investigations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ALARP assessments and other optioning processes
• Work closely with clients and project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in operational radiological protection, with a strong focus on quality and compliance
• Evidence of providing advice on IRR'17 and/or IRR'99
• Ability to lead teams and delegate tasks effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• SC security clearance (or ability to obtain)

Salary
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
