Austin Fraser is a renowned recruitment agency specializing in IT and engineering professionals. We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Test Engineer to join our client's R&D team in the UK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing testing methods and procedures for validation of Infotainment systems, ensuring vehicle level quality, function, and reliability standards are maintained with changes of Infotainment HW & SW, creating test reports, and managing suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification, knowledge of software programming and quality assurance, and experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment. They will also be able to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans, understand network communications (e.g., CAN, LIN), and follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections.
