Job Overview
A key role has become available within our client's team, based at their facility in Buxton. As a Lubrication Operative, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the availability and reliability of the plant, with a focus on minimizing maintenance costs.

About the Role
This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for occasional late shifts. Overtime rates apply, increasing on weekdays and Saturdays.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all required lubrication is carried out as per schedule, covering rotating equipment on the processing plant and mobile fleet. Key tasks include oil changes, sampling, checking and filling lubricant & hydraulic tanks, stock monitoring, filter changes, breather maintenance, and lubrication system top-up and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
• Oil changes and sampling
• Checking and filling lubricant & hydraulic tanks
• Stock monitoring
• Filter changes and lubrication system maintenance
• Breather maintenance and replacement
• Lubrication system top-up and maintenance and oil analysis
• Keeping the lubrication schedule up to date
• Proactive communication of potential hazards

Requirements
An experienced Lubrication Technician with an industrial background is required, able to work independently with minimal supervision. You must possess good organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work safely and prioritize tasks effectively. A valid UK Full Driver's Licence is essential, with a Telehandler Licence advantageous but not necessary.
