We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team at We Are Workforce Ltd. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our tax services, working closely with our clients to provide expert advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Completion and processing of personal self-assessment tax returns
- Completion and processing of partnership self-assessment tax returns
- Preparation of basic income & expenditure accounts for sole traders
- Preparation of rental accounts
- Checking & agreeing PAYE coding notices
- Checking & agreeing taxation statements of account
- Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs by telephone or correspondence as required
- General day-to-day handling of clients' tax affairs
- AAT/ATT qualified or part qualified
- GCSEs: 5 or more graded 6 or above, including Maths and English
- Company pension contributions of 3%
- Annual leave of 21 days plus bank holidays, plus 2 additional days to be taken at set times
- 1 day per year volunteer day for you to use volunteering at a local charity of your choice
- Up to 2 days per week WFH, this is booked in advance through our annual leave system
- A busy social calendar which all team members are invited to
