We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Bromsgrove. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing your own client portfolio, advising clients on their day-to-day compliance requirements, and preparing complex tax returns.
Key Responsibilities- Manage your own client portfolio and provide expert tax advice
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations
- Analyse information and communicate tax implications clearly to support Senior Managers
- Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information and ensure timely submission
- Oversee junior staff and provide guidance and support to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service
- Work closely with senior management to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- CTA / ATT qualified, currently studying or with the desire to begin studying
- At least 2 years' experience in a personal tax role within practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and professional with a hands-on approach
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
