Platform Engineer

As we continuously evolve the role of technology and automation in our business, the Platform Engineer will lead and drive innovation, wielding their expertise to architect and shape the foundational infrastructure that powers the digital landscape of large enterprises.

Key responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Developers, Architects, Product Owners, Managers, and representatives across various business and IT disciplines to design and optimize deployment pipelines.
  2. Architect the platform to support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing common, reusable tools and capabilities, interfacing with complex infrastructure.
  3. Lead diverse projects involving various technology stacks, emphasizing the design and creation of a state-of-the-art platform, focusing on optimal Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices.
  4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our deployment pipelines and cloud resource orchestration.
Requirements
  1. Strong skills in at least one programming language (like Python, Rust, or Golang), and willingness to learn more.
  2. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to recognize, measure, and mitigate risk.
  3. Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies and practices.
  4. Comfortable using the Linux command line in everyday work.
  5. Exposure to the Pub-Sub model and event streaming platforms such as Kafka, Pulsar, or AWS Kinesis.
  6. Experience with Postgres or other RDBMS environments and familiarity with No-SQL data solutions.
  7. Knowledge in cyber security technologies and principles.
