We are seeking caring and passionate individuals to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to enable individuals to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users.
  • Following care plans for each individual.
  • Taking service users out into the community.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Happy to provide personal care and support individuals with varying needs.
  • Willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and sleeps.
  • Essential: Drivers due to the nature of the role.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, opportunities for professional development, and a range of benefits, including:

  • Salary: £26,477 - £26,962 (including sleeps) + Plenty of overtime available.
  • Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week + 1 sleep per week.
  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Shifts: A variety of shifts, including optional sleeps.
  • Location: Ammanford, Carmarthenshire.
