Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Air Operations Coordinator to join our Guest Services team in Southampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing information and booking air services to our internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue air tickets, including nett/BT/IT/Cat 35/published fares, and ensure accurate fare and tax calculations.
  • Collaborate with airlines to identify best price and flight options for each route and provide information to our reservations departments.
  • Calculate air supplements and ensure awareness of tactical and special offers released by airlines.
  • Monitor flight availability and booking patterns to identify opportunities for group space utilization and cost savings.
  • Pull reports from GDS and reservation systems to assist with quality checks, hotel and transfer manifests, and BSP reconciliation.
  • Work with our ground agents to source transfers, hotels, and tours for our Concierge Collection land packages.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency cover for our guests and staff, including mobile phone and access to reservations systems.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, with airline knowledge and fares and ticketing qualifications.
  • Customer service experience and strong product and destination knowledge.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT literacy and working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
