About the Role:

The Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CAMHS Practitioner to join our team. As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, advice, and support to professionals, parents, and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including professionals, parents, and young people.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in CAMHS, incorporating this knowledge into your work.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, nursing).
  • Experience working in CAMHS or a related field, with a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within a children and young people safeguarding framework.
