About the Role

This temporary position involves supporting students with varying needs, including those with learning difficulties, in an outstanding school environment. The successful candidate will assist the class teacher, maintain a supportive educational atmosphere, and promote teamwork and independent task management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with ASC, PMLD, and MLD, utilizing previous experience to provide effective care and guidance.
  • Liaise with parents and professionals to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Follow established care guidelines to guarantee the well-being and safety of students.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers and students alike.
  • A calm and consistent approach, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Actively promote safeguarding and equality, ensuring all students receive fair treatment.
  • Previous experience in care, elderly care, and nursing, with a strong focus on ASC, PMLD, and MLD.
What We Offer

In addition to a competitive salary range (£20,000 - £25,000 per annum), Protocol Education provides full assistance with safeguarding checks and DBS checks. This opportunity may lead to a permanent position in the future, subject to performance and circumstances.
