We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Marlborough House Adolescent Inpatient Unit. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young people with mental health needs, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, psychosis, OCD, and emotional dysregulation.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of care and day-to-day management of the ward.
- Key work a small number of young people on the ward, ensuring up-to-date risk assessments and care plans that reflect their individual needs.
- Support the delivery of our Eating Disorder Program (EDP) and key working and supervising meals with young people on this care pathway.
- Support the delivery of our Managing Emotions Pathway (MEP) and key working and assisting young people to learn and apply DBT-informed skills to manage distress.
- Take a proactive role in decision-making on the daily care and risk management of young people.
- RMN/RNLD or RNC qualification.
- Knowledge of mental illness and its treatments relating to young people.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive and motivated personality.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries.
