About the Role

The Public Rights of Way Operations Team at Worcestershire County Council is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Public Rights of Way Network Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the management of our Public Rights of Way network, working with a variety of different people and enjoying a mix of outdoor, desk-based, and practical work.

As a key role within the team, you will be responsible for managing recreational routes such as the Worcestershire Way, coordinating volunteer schemes, and conducting inspections of public rights of way. You will also work closely with our voluntary path warden scheme, including leading training courses and providing written guidance.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of Public Rights of Way management and can effectively manage a busy workload, work to deadlines, and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
