About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team at The Early Careers Company. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing public affairs and communications campaigns for our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of the commercial environment and the issues that may impact business.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee all aspects of a campaign or project, driving it forward and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Account Executives, delegating tasks, briefing, monitoring progress, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting regular meetings and taking responsibility for driving a portfolio of accounts forward.
  • Business Development: Take an active interest in new business opportunities, networking for leads and participating in the pitch process.
  • Crisis Management: Manage incidents and monitor crises relatively independently, with minimal support from a Director.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in PR/communications
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation, consultation, and negotiation skills
  • Confidence, tact, and a persuasive manner
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
  • Good business sense and ability to work to budgets
