Outstation Technician

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Outstation Technician to join our team at Alstom. As an Outstation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective maintenance of our rolling stock fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on rolling stock, including electrical and mechanical checks
- Diagnose and rectify technical faults on the service fleet
- Provide technical support to depot teams in the provision of fault finding expertise and assistance with train repair activities
- Carry out testing and re-commissioning activities on vehicles and trains in accordance with pre-written test and commissioning procedures
- Assist with skills development and training of other team members
About You
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in rolling stock maintenance. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
