Mortgage Support Specialist

Your role in Bespoke Mortgage Services Ltd will be to support the Mortgage Adviser in all administrative duties related to mortgage and protection application processes, following cases through to completion.
This position is pivotal to the success of our business, requiring a professional and positive approach in managing client expectations throughout the process. You will liaise with lenders, solicitors, and clients on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively liaising with clients to request documentation, checking it is correct and compliant with network standards.
- Uploading all documentation onto our data management system (Smartr365).
- Sending out Fact Finds to clients and ensuring they are filled out correctly.
- Regularly liaising with lenders and providers to obtain updates on applicant status and progress mortgage applications through to completion.
- Answering incoming calls and emails.
- Opening post and distributing.
- Updating our central database weekly to allow case information to be accessed by the accounts department for invoicing purposes.
- Maintaining an up-to-date filing system.
We require:
- A minimum of one year's mortgage administration experience.
- CeMAP qualification advantageous but not necessary.
- The ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
- The ability to self-manage workloads, set daily priorities, and balance varying tasks throughout the day.
- A confident telephone manner and excellent customer service.
- The ability to work as a team player, using your own initiative.
Salary: £14,000 - £15,250 per year
Job Type: Part-time
