Facilities Management Coordinator

Nirvana Managed Services is a leading provider of facilities management solutions dedicated to delivering high-quality cleaning, caretaking, and site management services to both the public and private sectors.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising and coordinating the work of cleaning staff, including assigning tasks and inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met
- Training new cleaning staff members on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Maintaining cleaning schedules and ensuring all areas are cleaned in a timely manner
- Ordering cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Addressing any issues or complaints regarding cleaning services promptly and effectively
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
Preferred qualifications include:
- Certification in cleaning or housekeeping services
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant health and safety standards
Nirvana Managed Services offers a competitive salary of £24,375 per annum, 5.6 weeks' holiday per year, and 37.5 hours per week. Opportunities for career advancement are also available.
