We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a flexible, locum basis. This opportunity is perfect for those looking to boost their pay while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

As a Primary Care Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including GP surgeries, Walk-in Centres, and Out of Hours clinics. Your skills and experience will enable you to take blood pressure, conduct NHS and new patient checks, perform health and weight checks, administer ECGs, and dress wounds.

We offer competitive hourly rates from £13 to £20, including holiday pay, with no minimum number of hours or shifts required. Our locum opportunities allow you to pick the work that suits you best, whether it's evenings, weekends, or weekdays.

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 months of experience in Primary Care and be confident in your ability to carry out the required skills. If you're a motivated and caring individual looking for flexible work opportunities, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking blood pressure and conducting NHS and new patient checks
  • Performing health and weight checks and administering ECGs
  • Dressing wounds and working to Patient Safety Directives (PSDs)
  • Administering immunisations, including B12s and Pneumonia shots
