Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated CEIAG Co-ordinator to lead the school's Careers Education programme and support students on their journeys through education, training, and employment.

About the Role: As a CEIAG Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students receive high-quality, impartial careers education. You will develop and deliver a strategy that aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks, preparing students at both KS3 and KS4 for important transitions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Building Relationships: Establish strong relationships with universities, further education providers, and local businesses to create career pathways.
  • Guidance Support: Provide one-to-one and group guidance to students, helping them explore educational and vocational opportunities.
  • Student Support: Support students at risk of becoming NEET by tracking their progress and offering personalised advice.
  • Organising Work Experience: Collaborate with staff and external agencies to organise work experience placements and career events.
  • Career Portal Management: Maintain the school's careers portal and promote career-related activities through the school website and social media channels.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) at grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills (proficient in MS Word and Excel).

  • Degree: Desirable: A degree in a relevant field or working towards a Level 6 qualification in Career Development.
