SEN Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Stechford.
About the Role:
- As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students in a nurturing environment that prioritizes holistic development.
- You will work closely with learners on the autism spectrum, both verbal and non-verbal, to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer individualized support to students with diverse needs, both in classroom settings and beyond.
- Assist children in understanding and following teachers' instructions.
- Work with individual pupils or small groups, either in the classroom or in the learning support department.
- Monitor and record student progress to inform their development plans.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a teaching or teaching assistant role.
- A background in supporting children with SEN, particularly those with ADD/ADHD and autism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively meet the needs of the students.
- An adaptable, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to working in a dynamic environment.
Please note that this is a long-term position, offering a competitive salary of £95-£105 per day.
