Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant for EYFS

Are you passionate about supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their early years? We are looking for a bank of dedicated supply SEN Teaching Assistant's to join a wonderful team at a Special School catering to Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in Solihull.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with SEN in EYFS, including those with SLD and PMLD.
- Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility support as required by individual students.
- Support the implementation of personalised learning plans and sensory activities to promote engagement and progress.
- Foster positive relationships with students, creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other staff members to create inclusive and stimulating learning experiences.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a special educational setting, preferably with experience in EYFS and SEN.
- Understanding of the needs of children with SLD and PMLD, including knowledge of relevant strategies and interventions.
- Compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
- Relevant qualifications or training in supporting children with SEN (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools).
