Role Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the risk management framework, ensuring consistency with the group's normative documentation, and establishing alignment with regulatory expectations. They will also be expected to prepare clear, accurate, and efficient documentation and related summaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and monitor the standards for key components of the normative documentation (Risk Appetite Framework (RAF), Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), Risk Management Framework (RMF)) for SGLB and SGIL
  2. Coordinate the update process (at least annually)
  3. Evaluate consistency with the Group normative documentation
  4. Establish alignment with regulatory expectations
  5. Prepare clear, accurate, and efficient documentation and related summaries
  6. Establish and monitor adherence to the RAF, RAS, RMF
  7. Coordinate and enhance SGLB and SGIL risk identification and assessment framework and conduct periodic risk identification and assessment campaigns
  8. Undertake review and challenge of key ESG risk factors and capital management aspects
  9. Maintain awareness of business, regulatory, and market developments, providing support and thought leadership to enhance risk management
  10. Prepare impact/action summaries related to relevant regulatory developments
  11. Prepare documentation and presentation for relevant governance fora
  12. Participate in and/or lead projects as required
  13. Support the embedding of strong risk culture and sound governance
  14. Participate in the SGIL ICAAP

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with advanced understanding of enterprise risk management in a banking environment, deep experience in developing Risk Management Frameworks, and sound knowledge of and experience in identifying, assessing, and managing ESG risk factors. Excellent coordination and project management skills, including impactful leadership, are essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent emotional intelligence and have strong risk culture and reliable professional conduct.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
