We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join our Construction team in the Wales Division. This exciting opportunity will involve managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works while maintaining the highest quality of work and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the development, providing clear direction to site staff on their responsibilities and targets.
  • Implement and manage health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Motivate and manage site staff, providing toolbox talks, training, coaching, and support to improve performance.
  • Ensure site presentation meets the required standards at all times.
  • Deliver production requirements in accordance with technical and planning documentation, and any subsequent instructions.
  • Comply with building regulations and warranty providers' requirements.
  • Update and send production/progress returns to the Construction Manager as requested.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including site manager reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions, and health and safety records.

Requirements

  • Experience in working as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
  • Effective team management skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
