Job Title: Executive Director of Resources Department

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Resources Department. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our finance, revenue, and benefits teams, as well as our digital services and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our finance, revenue, and benefits teams.
  • Lead the development and implementation of our digital services strategy.
  • Oversee the procurement function and ensure effective management of our supply chain.
  • Work closely with our executive management team, chief officers, and elected members to drive change and improvement across the council.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including our communities, partners, and suppliers.

  • Proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic leadership and direction skills, with the ability to drive change and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
