The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data and statistical information to support the provision of services for children and young people aged 0-19.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date data on children and young people aged 0-19
* Develop and implement data analysis and reporting tools to support public health interventions
* Collaborate with Maternity services to receive initial birth details and NHS numbers
* Provide a central repository and failsafe for the Newborn Blood Spot Screening Programme
* Support the local delivery of the national Antenatal and New Born Screening and Immunisation Programmes
* Gather and compile information for statutory returns
* Manipulate large data files in preparation for bulk uploading onto CHIS SystmOne Unit
* Run reports and complete exception reports

Person specification:

* NVQ Level 4 in Administration or equivalent
* ECDL or equivalent IT qualification
* Experience of data analysis & associated software packages (Excel)

Desirable criteria:

* Previous NHS experience
* Previous SystmOne Experience
