About the Role
As a Unit Nurse Manager (General) at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care, tailored to their individual needs. This will involve implementing person-centred care plans, managing staff rotas, and building relationships with local healthcare providers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration. You will have experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks. As a natural leader, you will have acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. You will be dedicated, ambitious, and resilient, with a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
• Implement person-centred care plans tailored to individual resident needs
• Manage staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
• Build relationships with local healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery
• Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory frameworks
• Act as a clinical mentor to support newly qualified nurses
