Job Title: Dedicated Support Assistant

Salary: £12.50 per hour (14 hours per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team. As a Support Assistant, you will provide essential support to one of our customers, a fully blind and autistic composer, in various aspects of daily life. This includes assisting with meal preparation, travel arrangements, administrative tasks, and navigating sensory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation and cleaning
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our customer
  • Accompany our customer on outings and trips
  • Help with administrative tasks, including phone calls and email management
  • Support our customer in developing skills for independence

Requirements:

  • You must have a driving license and be willing to drive
  • You should be welcoming of difference and diversity
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are essential
  • Maturity and empathy are key qualities for this role
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
