About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our specialist respiratory nurse team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of long-term respiratory conditions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing holistic care to patients with respiratory conditions, including assessment, planning, and treatment.
  • Acting as a resource to hospital staff and other healthcare professionals requiring specialist input.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to meet the needs of patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a nurse with:

  • Extensive post-registration experience in respiratory nursing.
  • Relevant post-registration experience at Band 6 or above.
  • Experience of teaching and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
