Research Associate in Algebraic Geometry

The Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London invites applications for a Research Associate position in Algebraic Geometry. This role is funded by the Royal Society University Research Fellowship on ''Geometric Applications of Stability Conditions on Triangulated Categories.'

As a Research Associate, you will work closely with Dr Soheyla Feyzbakhsh and the algebraic geometry group at Imperial College on aspects of the Royal Society fellowship. Your expertise in derived categories, Bridgeland stability conditions, Brill-Noether theory, K3 surfaces, Fano varieties, Donaldson-Thomas theory, and enumerative invariants in string theory will be invaluable in this role.

To be successful in this position, you will need a PhD or equivalent level of professional qualifications and/or experience in algebraic geometry or closely related fields. You should also have clear evidence of outstanding promise and originality in research, with a good publication record, commensurate with career stage.
