Job Title: Behavioural Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Job Type: Full-time

Location: North West

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the North West. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with pupils with Behavioural Difficulties and a relevant teaching assistant qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Behavioural Difficulties in a primary school setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils as needed
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Previous experience working with pupils with Behavioural Difficulties
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous KS2 experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Current DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
