We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Deputy Head (Academic). This is a key role in the future development of our flourishing girls' school.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of fostering academic excellence and will support staff in delivering close alignment between academic and pastoral sides of school life. They will uphold our strong commitment to excellent professional development and work closely with the Head and Senior Deputy Head (Pastoral) on a daily basis.

The Deputy Head (Academic) will play a key role in leading a creative approach to the curriculum, working with a dedicated and ambitious team of Heads of Department. They will ensure that our pupils receive an inspiring and forward-thinking education which prepares them for a fulfilling professional and personal life.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The Deputy Head (Academic) will be responsible for supporting staff in delivering a curriculum that prepares our pupils for a fulfilling professional and personal life.
