Step Teachers, a leading educational institution, is seeking an exceptional Food Technology Educator to join their team at a Secondary school in a market town on A11 between Norwich and Thetford.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards for food technology. This includes instructing students in the principles and practices of food technology, including food preparation, nutrition, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain a well-equipped food technology laboratory, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate food technology into broader educational initiatives.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in food technology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching food technology at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of food technology principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Salary and Benefits:
