About the Role:

The successful candidate will work as a Powertrain Calibration / System Performance Engineer, responsible for developing and managing powertrain calibrations using client toolsets & processes. The role involves defining, generating & managing engine test plans, planning, executing and analyzing engine & system simulation activities, completed system performance assessments, including trade-offs and data analysis, and reviewing data and root cause analysis (RCA) to identify powertrain system issues & develop solutions for resolution.

Requirements:

2:1 or above Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant topic

A strong understanding of diesel internal combustion engine operation and performance, knowledge of ancillary systems, and experience or knowledge of vehicle emissions requirements are essential. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of simulation systems, particularly Matlab SIMULINK, working knowledge of calibration toolsets & engine calibration, including trade-offs for emissions and performance, excellent analytical skills, able to interpret data and results and present results in a clear & understandable format, and strong team player with good communication & English language skills.
