We are seeking a skilled Senior Linguistic Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Universally Speaking. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of in-game text across various platforms.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-class partner to the games industry, making sure that video games are perfect before they are released to gamers. You will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our clients' products by detecting linguistic bugs and reporting them using our bug database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure linguistic accuracy and correctness of in-game text\
  • Develop and execute test cases throughout the project life cycle\
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure Localisation QA effectively tests and supports all features of the project\
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance LQA processes and workflows\
  • Work closely with the QA team to achieve shared goals and objectives\

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in Russian language and culture\
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English\
  • Passion for video games and gaming communities\
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\

  • Familiarity with CAT tools (MemoQ) and software testing methodologies\
