About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Support Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Ward 7 & 9. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the Senior Charge Nurses and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Charge Nurses, including maintaining accurate records and managing paperwork.
  • Assist with the coordination of patient care activities, including scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with multidisciplinary team members, including nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance administrative skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of current NHS Scotland HR paperwork and procedures is advantageous.
