About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an English Graduate to develop their teaching skills, gain valuable experience, and make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a Teaching Support Specialist, you will work closely with experienced teachers to deliver high-quality teaching, create engaging lesson plans, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior English teachers to develop and deliver effective lesson plans
  • Provide one-to-one support to students to help them improve their English grades and achieve academic success
  • Motivate and encourage students to aim high and cultivate a love of literature and language
  • Assist with classroom activities, manage behavior, and contribute to a supportive learning environment
  • Help create and develop teaching resources to support student success in English

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 or higher degree in English from a top 25 UK University
  • Strong A-levels, ideally in English or related subjects
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for education

Salary:

The salary for this position is £450-£500 per week, offering a competitive rate for a full-time, term-time position until July 2025.
