Job Title: Medical Staffing Team Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Staffing Team Lead to join our Radiology department at King's College Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing operational support for the medical workforce, working closely with the Clinical Director, training scheme leads, and Service Manager to develop and implement new processes and procedures for rota management, recruitment, and insourcing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Band 4 PAs in the department, working together to provide an effective, efficient, and high-quality service.
  • Support the Rota lead with the management of the on-call rota and record swaps, annual leave, and sickness.
  • Work closely with the Admin Manager to support capacity gaps and escalate to the service management team.
  • Support the recruiting managers with the HR admin processes related to recruitment, including all offer management and on-boarding tasks, liaising with candidates during the process.
  • Work with the medical education clinical and admin teams to ensure all new starters to the trust have the right level of educational supervision and training packages in place and access to PAS systems.
  • Responsible for advertising and outcome offers made through TRAC.
Requirements:
  • Educated to GCSE level with experience in administration.
  • A willingness to undertake further training.
  • Experience of managing, training, and supervising groups of staff.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent word-processing and spreadsheet skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience of working in a medical staffing role.
