About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students aged 4-11 in our partner schools in Horley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and engaging learning space, promoting student well-being and motivation.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for working with children and promoting a love of learning.
  • Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English.
  • Experience working with children or in childcare, with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Confidence and motivation to guide individuals or small groups, with an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided).
